(More customer reviews)The screw driven opener performs very well. Operation is quiet and smooth. The computer's logic and sensors ensures the opener will avoid "crushing" incidents. The lightweight rail is easy to assemble and stronger then expected. I used Locktite medium strength to ensure nuts would not vibrate off. The lack of vibration made the Locktite superfluous.
The manual was clearly written. Providing the installation steps are followed, the system is easy to install in a half a day. Please make sure your door is balanced as explained in the manual. You do need a 6 ft. "A" frame ladder. Manuals can be previewed (to see if you want to tackle this job) and additional accessories are available at Chamberlain's own web site.
