(More customer reviews)I wanted a remote for my new, homelink-less vehicle, and didn't want a clumsy-looking, plain old black remote stuffed somewhere in the car, nor a key-fob-like device dangling from my keys. This was the only thing I could find that seemed to fit the bill - somewhat stylish looking, and possibly mountable in a semi-visble spot.
Unfortunately, the style doesn't go well with my interior (not that I'm a decorator type in the first place), but it fits perfectly upside down in the sunglasses holder near the rear view mirror. This also allows the blue proximity lights to work as my hand gets near.
Aside from the looks, it's just a garage door opener. The lights are handy at night. Its not as elegent a solution as a HomeLink visor or mirror, but the cost is much less. If you need something like I did, this is your device.
