(More customer reviews)Summary: It's small and will (eventually) open the garage door. The problem is, you may have to play with it, waving it around, and pressing the button a half dozen times to make it actually work. Which, if it's on your car key chain, may involve you removing your key from the ignition to get it above the dash for a clear shot to the garage door. In short, keep looking. The one I received was different than the picture. Not a bad thing as it has a little flash light built into it. Cool, but I don't know if I'd use it much.
The real problem, with mine at least, is it has virtually no range. It also seems to need a clear line of sight to the garage door. I use it on my motorcycle key chain, and I have to ride up to the door, stop, pull up on my key chain to aim the thing so it can see through my windscreen, and push it several times to get it to open.
My old, big, visor-clip, Stanley remote that I kept in my pocket, worked while I was down the street (still in my pocket) allowing me to roll into the garage without stopping. This is nice that it is small, but I'll lose the pocket space to be able not to have to stop the bike and fidget with this thing trying to get it to work. So I guess I'll buy a big old style one to replace my original that was ruined from riding in a downpour.
