(More customer reviews)These safety cables are 1/8" thick versus the thinner 3/32" cables sold at local hardware stores. Recently had an extension spring break and it caused the old thinner 3/32" cable to almost break with a tear half way through the cable. Lifted the garage door up and replacement was easy in about an hour.
