(More customer reviews)I bought this because the main way people get in and out of my house is through the garage and it can be dark at times. Rather than fumbling with a light switch I thought this would be great. It's easy to set up and plug in since it uses the same wiring as the old one. The annoying part is that this unit uses the same mounting pattern (which is nice since I didn't have to change the screws) but it sits about a half inch higher than the old opener. Now it looks weird next to my second door opener, easy fix but annoying since everything else is plug and play. The automatic light feature works pretty well but I have noticed sometimes it doesn't turn on when I think it should. The other night I was taking out the trash and walked right by it and it didn't go off, but when I walked back past it to go into the house it turned on. I haven't played with the sensitivity yet but it seems it should work more reliably than it has. I think it was worth the investment but also think it could work better.
