(More customer reviews)Purchased this at a local store, it was a floor model so ended up about the same price. The metal is a little "tinny", but then again this is not a safe it is a cabinet with a lock. Will work good for keeping the grandkids out of harms way. Being a floor model the lock was messed up and was really hard to operate. I put some silicon in the locking mechanisms and they work good now, sure they will only get better with use. The shelfs were easy to assemble, 4 bolts on each one. Only problem with it is if you want the shelfs in a different location you would have to drill four holes. You might want to do this for the top 2 shelves as they seem to be pretty close together. I like that the top is pre-drilled for the add on pistol/ammo box.
