(More customer reviews)Purchased since it should support intellicode and code dodger systems such as my 1999 Overhead Door opener. This remote will register but will not open/close the door. I have the ACSCTG Type 1 and GICT390 Genie remotes that work without issue. I even erased the opener's memory and checked the GIFTD-1 frequency but it still does not work. I can only assume I received a defective product since Genie's site claims it's compatible but since it registers, I'm not sure. The opener's lights flash as they should during registration and flash only once when trying to use but nothing happens. I've already received an authorization from Amazon to return the device.
One other note, the GIFTD-1 shows to be a keychain remote but it's rather large for a keychain item and only slighly smaller than the GICT390 model. I bought this remote for my ragtop since I didn't want to leave a remote in a vehicle with easy inside access. Off to the brick and mortar stores to find one that is actually keychain size.
