After many years, my old seal was failing which caused problems with the closing of the garage door, dust and unwanted critters. I was hesitant buying this product online because I wanted to feel the quality and confirm the "T" ends would fit. Besides returning things purchased online can be a pain. I measured for a replacement seal and could not find a 16' long quality garage door bottom seal that was 3 1/2" wide (layed flat) with 1/4" "T" ends at my local Lowes or Home Depot. The bottom frame of my garage door is 2" and anything less than 3 1/2" wide would not have formed a good "U" base seal with the floor. The 1/4" "T" ends was important to fit into the channels on the bottom of the existing garage door.
The product came within days. With the help of pliers, I cajoled and slid the old one out and had my wife hold the roll while I slid the new seal into the bottom channel. It fit perfectly. I trimmed the last 4' off and we had it installed within 20 minutes.
