(More customer reviews)This is bar non the WORST product I have ever wasted my money...and time on. I needed 6 of these. Had them installed. Had to go to a locksmith to get additional keys made b/c my local hardware store didnt have the right key. The locksmith told me that the reason it's a specialty key is because it's a "cheap knockoff" of the original American made version and the keys are thinner. RED FLAG but they were already installed! Anyway I needed to try the keys before I passed them out to the tenants. I unlocked the first lock and felt something hit my shoe. It was part of the lock. Went to the second lock, same thing, etc X 4. Turns out what was falling to the ground were the tumblers. There was no casing to hold them in place. Basically after using this lock 1 time the keys no longer fit. What a rip off! I was out $106 bucks + shipping for the purchase. $49.50 in additional keys + another $40 for installation. And hours of my time. I contacted Plumber Surplus only asking them to refund my $106. They apologized that "I was unhappy with my purchase, but sorry it's been more than 30 days." They chose to stand by this crappy product for $106 instead of possibly acquiring a new customer. AND THEY ARE STILL SELLING THIS JUNK ITEM! There is no quality control at this company and lousy customer service. They can't guarantee their product for more than 30 days. But I can guarantee if you buy this product you WILL BE SORRY!
