(More customer reviews)These new Nylon rollers are much quieter than the old ones and easy to install. Note- when installing the bottom roller it was much easier to loosen the rail that it rolls in and move it to the side so that you can slide the roller out without removing the hinge. The bottom hinge is connected to the tension wire and much more difficult to remove.

They are well made and seem sturdy; I opted for the stainless steel versions as a direct replacement for my 30 year old versions. I could see the numerous ball-bearings helping to rotate the wheel and there was a good amount of lubricant placed all around the roller. It easily fit right into both No. 1 and No. 3 hinges on my garage door. It literally took only a few moments to pop the older rollers out and place these. Of course, Amazon packaged and shipped these well and very timely!
