(More customer reviews)This product that was sent to me was a complete rip off. The product was made of poor materials, the pre-cut holes would not line up so you could not open the top or bottom. The glass front was bearly being held in place, the product was damaged, scratched and dented. Called to send back, first refused so I had to file a complaint with Amazon. Then they would not speak with me because I filed a complaint. Amazon then told me to ship it out and insure it. I sent it out and got it returned due to shipping damages "the box had boot prints and knuckle prints after it spent two days in the warehouse". Told me to file a claim. UPS told me that it should of been shipped in 4 inch thick styrofoam packaging "i shipped it the same exact was it was shipped to me" and since I was the shipper I was out of luck. Amazon said they would do nothing about it. You could seriously by this product from Wal-Mart for $99.99, it is pressboard with a really cheap oak wall-paper like covering. I will never deal with this company again. Now I wont deal with amazon for allowing people to get ripped off and for them to pass the blame when I followed there protocol.

(More customer reviews)Purchased this at a local store, it was a floor model so ended up about the same price. The metal is a little "tinny", but then again this is not a safe it is a cabinet with a lock. Will work good for keeping the grandkids out of harms way. Being a floor model the lock was messed up and was really hard to operate. I put some silicon in the locking mechanisms and they work good now, sure they will only get better with use. The shelfs were easy to assemble, 4 bolts on each one. Only problem with it is if you want the shelfs in a different location you would have to drill four holes. You might want to do this for the top 2 shelves as they seem to be pretty close together. I like that the top is pre-drilled for the add on pistol/ammo box.

(More customer reviews)Unbelievably, during my 19 years of homeownership, the way I've kept a spare key outside the house is by putting it inside a fake rock (from Brookstone) designed to hold a key. Not real safe, huh? My wife finally convinced me that we should get something a bit more secure than a plastic rock with a sliding cover underneath it to hold our spare key. After doing a bit of research and poking around on Amazon, I came across this Master Lock key storage box. It looked like exactly what we needed. (I had considered one other product on Amazon, made by GE, but was totally put off by the fact that even if someone didn't know your exact combination, they could still open the box. The device would open as long as someone entered the right numbers in your code, regardless of the order. Example: If your code was 4231, if someone entered 1234, the box would open. That seems wack.) The Master Lock box was simple to install. I just used the four screws that came with it to mount it to the side of my garage. It took about 5 minutes. Then I set my combination, put the spare key in the box, and locked it up. Voila! My wife and I now feel much safer about the location of our spare key. And it's nice to be able to change the combination anytime we want. Another truly great aspect of this product is the sliding protective cover that protects the number wheels (or whatever you call them). The cover keeps the numbers protected from the elements. Also, the box seems very strong and secure. I would highly recommened it to anyone. In fact, I'm going to buy another one for my brother-in-law to install at his cottage. A great product at a great price.
