(More customer reviews)I received this product quickly from ASP doors. Unfortunately, that is the only positive feedback I can offer.
I purchased a receiver and keypad that were defective. The assistance from Linear Corporation was less than adequate, and they were not able to address the problem. I could make the door actuate only when the transmitter was within 1" of the receiver antenna. Ultimately, Linear told me that I had to go to ASP Door to return the product.
It has been a month and multiple e-mails to ASP Doors - with absolutely no response. I will not consider purchasing any product from ASP Doors again. Be advised that if you do, and the product is defective, that there is no phone number for ASP Doors and that they do not answer e-mails.

(More customer reviews)I commute on a motorcycle and needed something that could be programmed to open the community gate and my garage, and be small and accessable to grab as I'm riding. This little thing was definitely the ticket. It's hardy, durable, and has lasted through years of abuse. I keep it on my keychain, on the bike, and it's been exposed to rain, no problems. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a small opener.
The only improvements I can think is if they can make it even smaller, and prettier. Even if they would just offer it in black would be a great improvement.
But those are minor things. This is a great little gadget as it is.

Linear Multi-code 300MHz 1-Channel Key Ring Transmitter Review

Unfortunately, in spite of the glowing reviews from others on this product, I have to give my third to this utterly lacking Multi-Code single-channel micro transmitter. I needed a portable garage opener for a building that has a system that predates anyone who lives in the building now. Given its miniature size, this looked like a fine selection as it provides the necessary match to the increasingly rare ten-switch operation. In fact, I was excited that I received two of the remotes for the price.
I enthusiastically changed the switch positions to match the ten switches in the main component of the garage opening system. However, to my chagrin, neither remote worked with the system, even after I replaced the batteries included for ones I purchased at an electronics store. Luckily, I still have an old remote that works, but it is on the verge of disrepair. I could understand if one of the two remotes was inoperable due to manufacturing error, but for both to be inoperable, it shows me that there are non-disclosed limits to the compatibility of this remote to systems. Be forewarned that you will run this risk as well if you blindly purchase this product based solely on its ten-switch capability.

Multicode 12/24V Gate or Garage Door Opener Receiver Model 1099-50 w/coax antenna (300/310 MHz) Review

(More customer reviews)We bought 2 of these and the corresponding remotes for use at a fire station. The tech that normally works on our systems said he'd charge $125-$150 for parts and labor for one set. We bought 2 sets for just over $100 and installed them ourselves in 5 minutes. Works great, and priced better than anywhere else we could find. Nice!
